Multi bets

do you guys ever take multi bets?? or do you guys know what it is..

its dealing with sportbets

it's where u bet on multiple events on ANY sport and multiply the odds of each event and multiply it by what you bet to get the return profit

for example

NBA spurs vs bulls 1.85 odds X NBA sonics vs cavaliers 3.1 X NHL flyers vs dallas 2.55


2.55x1.85x3.1 = 14.6 odds

14.6 X 5bucks = 73dollars return if all three odds win..

do you have that in america or wherever u bet, becuase wenever i read any betting tips i never see people talking about taking up multis?

Theyre generally referred to as " Parlays " by offshore sportsbooks and theyre exactly the same as multis or all ups. They can be taken on the one sport or across different sports and theyre exactly the same as your multi-sport all up

oh okay parlay is the term then..

well do many ppl do it in this forum, i never hear that word mentioned often?

you can lose a parlay by only one game losing so, IMO you would be better off placing straight bets on all games that way if you lose one you still profit whereas if you parlay ten teams win 9 you get nada hope this helps.

yeh i understand that, but sometimes you must be confident about a couple of differnet wins and combine them. i parlay at times, but i like doing it only because its fun and only wen im like 95% confident on all those teams im parlaying with

A parlay makes sense if you like a couple of short price favourites and are confident about them all winning. There is no point outlaying $300 to win $90 by having three seperate $100 bets @1.30. Why not just outlay $100 to win $120 ( 100 x 1.3 x 1.3 x 1.3 ). But in saying that, the more teams you have in your parlay/all up, the more youre pushing your luck.
